About Uttarakhand disability pension scheme
Uttarakhand State Government has launched Uttarakhand Disability Pension Scheme for the benefit of all persons with disabilities in the state. All disabled persons living in the state will get a monthly pension for leading a standard life. The main objective of this scheme is to change the mindset of the common man toward disabled people, to understand Society that there will be no social discrimination due to inability, they will not lag behind in this society and Every person in society should be treated equally
Objective Of this Scheme
- The project will focus on changing society’s attitudes toward people with disabilities and improving their quality of life.
- The scheme aims to improve the health and quality of life of disabled people
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand
- The Applicant Must have a Disability Certificate issued by the Govt Authority of Uttarakhand Health service
- Disability Certificate must be possessing 40% or more Disabilities
- If applicant does not come under BPL category but his annual family income is less than Rs 48000 then he can apply for the scheme
- No educational Qualification Required
- Applicant’s age should be between 18 to 59 years
- Applicant must have a working bank account (In special Case Such as minor/mentally Retarded/ill etc then the joint account of Applicant’s father /Mother /Legal Guardian will be considered)

Benefits
- The state government will provide a monthly grant of Rs 1500 to all these individuals. This money will be paid directly to the beneficiary’s bank accounts.
- Only leprosy patients will be given a pension of Rs 1000 per month

- Now the portal for downloading the application form will open on your screen
- here you need to select DISABILITY pension and download the application form of Disability pension,
- Now you have to Fill-up all the information asked in the application form. and pin up All the Required Documents
- After filling in all the information, you have to submit the form to this office
