About the Bihar Saat Nischay program 

Government of Bihar Shri Nitish Kumar announced the launch of 7 Nishchay Scheme for the people of Bihar state in Bihar as a promise just before the elections in 2015, through this “Saat Nishchay” plan he announced the launch of seven new schemes for the welfare of the people of the state, these seven must be schemes will highlight the overall development of the state.After the election, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Mahashay successfully launched the scheme with Bihar state

And after the election of 2020, the Nitish government has definitely started programs for the welfare of the state through which all aspects of the state will improve and welfare.

Bihar Saat Nischay program Part 1 (( launched year: 2015)

ARTHIK HAL, YUBAO KI BAL

This scheme has been implemented with the objective of providing financial assistance to the 12th-class passed students who are deprived of getting higher education due to economic reasons.
This loan is being given for 36 types of courses in general and various vocational/technical courses of higher education like BA/BSc/Engineering/MBBS/Management/Law etc.

Awsar Badhe Aage Padhe

With the objective of facilitating youth’s contribution to economic and social development by improving higher education and strengthening the supply of skilled workers in the state, the government has introduced “Awsar Badhe Aage Padhe”.

Har Ghar Bijli

The purpose of this Nishchay is to ensure the availability of electricity in every rural and urban household in Bihar. Through this scheme, the Bihar government will ensure metered electric connections to all households in rural areas.

Shauchalay Nirman Ghar ka Samman

This Nischay is being executed in urban areas by Urban Development and Housing Department and in rural areas by Rural Development Department. The provision of a toilet in every house will be made to make Bihar, free of open defecation, healthy and clean, without any discrimination to all households of the state under this Nishchay. All urban and rural families of the state will be encouraged for regular use of toilets by bringing about community behavioral changes. An approximate 1.68 crore toilet-less families are being targeted to ensure they have toilet facilities in the next 5 years under this scheme.

Arakshit Rojgar, Mahila ka Adhikar

The Government of Bihar has always been sensitive to the empowerment of women and that is why it has always been an integral part of the policy of the Government Bihar, in consequence, the Bihar government implemented the project in Bihar state within two months of announcing the scheme

The project aims to empower women in the state of Bihar by creating self-employment and women’s self-help groups, which will ensure the overall development of women in the state of Bihar.

Ghar tak Pakki Gali Naliya

In order to strengthen the rural infrastructure, “Ghar Tak Pakki Gali Naliyan” was inaugurated on 26th October 2016. Following the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Village Road Scheme, the remaining uninhabited settlements will be connected with paved roads, under which paved drainage and by-lanes will be provided in all villages and towns. To achieve this goal three projects have been launched: –

  1. Grameen Tola Communication Nischai Yojana.
  2. Mukhmantri Grameen Gali Nali Puchikaran Nischai Yojana.

Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal

This project has been started to provide piped water to every household in Bihar. The following three schemes have been launched for the implementation of this scheme across Bihar:

  • Mukhyamantri Gramin Peyjal Nischay Yojana
  • Mukhyamantri Gramin Peyjal (Quality Affected Areas) Nishchay Yojana
  • Mukhyamantri Shahari Peyjal Nischay Yojana

Bihar Saat Nischay program Part 2 ( launched year: 2020)

“Yuva Shakti Bihar ki pragati”

In Saat Nischay Part-2, Nitish Kumar has given the first priority to the progress of youth power-Bihar. Under this, student credit card scheme for higher education, computer training, communication skills and behavioral skills have been promised. Along with this, there is a plan to set up high level Center of Excellence in each ITI and Polytechnic Institutes to enhance the quality of training.

In Saat Nischay Part-2, second importance has been given to empowered women-able women. Under this, there is a plan to empower and enable women. A special scheme will be brought to increase entrepreneurship among women. Interest-free loans will be given up to 50% of the project cost or up to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh. Along with this, with the objective of motivating women for higher education, financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 will be given on passing Inter and Rs. 50,000 on graduation.

In this ambitious plan Saat Nischay Part-2, Nitish Kumar has given third place to agriculture and irrigation. Under this it has been promised that in the next five years, water will be made available for irrigation to every field.

The target of clean village and prosperous village has been kept at number four. Under this, there is a plan to install solar street lights in all villages, solid and liquid waste management, besides development of animal and fish resources. Along with this, the Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal scheme will be continued even further.

In the Saat Nischay Part-2, at number 5, there is a plan for a clean city-developed city. This includes building shelters for the elderly, multi-storey housing for the urban poor, solid and liquid waste management under sanitation, electric crematoriums and Moksha Dham.

Sulabh Samparkata

The target of accessible connectivity has been set at number six in the Seven Nishchay Part-2. Under this, there is a plan to connect villages with major roads, bypass roads and flyovers for the convenience of the people.

In the 7th decision, there is a plan for additional health facilities for all. Under this, there is a plan to improve health facilities from village to village and to prepare the basic system for better animal health management. It promises doorstep service with the help of call centers and mobile app. Apart from this, it has been said to connect PHC, CHC as well as sub-division, and district hospitals through telemedicine. Along with this, a promise has been made to improve and expand the facilities of the existing hospitals.
