The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojana is a scheme in Haryana, Initiated by Haryana state govt, that aims to provide financial assistance for repairing the houses of the most backward classes like Scheduled Castes, De-notified Tribes, and Tapriwas Caste. The scheme has been designed to ensure that these communities can improve and maintain their homes, especially those belonging to families below the poverty line. Under this scheme, Eligible beneficiaries can receive financial assistance of up to Rs 80,000 for repairing their house only.

Objective Of This Scheme

The primary objective of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Awas Navinikarn Yojna is to provide financial assistance to the backward classes of Haryana for repairing their old houses. The other objectives of this scheme are:

  • To improve the living conditions of SCs, De-notified Tribes, and Tapriwas Caste families.
  • To support the maintenance and repair of old houses.
  • To encourage the beneficiaries to take care of their houses and keep them in good condition.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
  • The applicant’s name should be on the BPL list.
  • The house to be repaired must be the name of the applicant and it must have been at
    least ten years or more since it was built.
  • The applicant had not received any grant from any department of Haryana for repairs &
    construction for the last 10 years and Aadhar Card should be mandatory.

Benefits

Under this scheme, a grant of Rs 80,000/- is given to the persons belonging to the families of Haryana State living below the poverty line, whose residential house is eligible to be repaired.

Required Documents

Applicant needs to provide the following documents to apply in this scheme

  • BPL Ration card of both side.
  • Haryana Residence certificate
  • Aadhar linked bank passbook with photo.
  • Aadhar card is required.
  • Land proof.
  • Photo of House with owner.
  • Estimates of repair.
  • The proof of ownership, attested by the concerned village secretary, should be accepted
    instead of the patwari along with the application.
