About The ONGC MERITORIOUS Scholarship
ONGC Meritorious Scholarship is a prestigious opportunity for students from SC/ST, OBC, and General categories pursuing Engineering, MBBS, MBA, or Master in Geophysics/Geology. This initiative aims to support meritorious students in their educational journey, providing financial assistance and empowering them to achieve academic excellence.
This scholarship is given to 2000 students from different categories – 1000 SC/ST students, 500 OBC students, and 500 General category students. It gives them INR 48,000 every year to help with their education. The main aim is to support intelligent students and help them finish their courses.

Selection Procedure
- Qualification Marks Matter:
- Your total marks in the qualifying exam decide your chances.
- Tie-Breaker Rule:
- If two students have the same marks, the foundation will choose the one with a lower family income.
- Priority to Low-Income Families:
- Students belonging to families below the poverty line (BPL) are given priority for admission.
- Others Considered Next:
- If there are not enough BPL students, other applicants may be considered.

- Find the ‘Undertaking Form‘ or ‘Self-Attested Declaration’ link in the document upload section.
- Download the form to your device.
Get it Verified/Attested:
- For the college declaration, submit the filled form to the college administration for verification or attestation.
- For the self-attested undertaking, self-verify by ensuring all information is accurate.
Mandatory Upload:
- Scan or take a clear photo of the verified/attested college declaration.
- Similarly, scan or take a clear photo of the self-attested undertaking.
Upload in the Form Document Upload Section:
