Eligibility criteria
- Permanent resident of India.
- Belong to economically weaker sections with a family annual income under Rs. 3.5 lakh.
- 60% marks in Class 10 for Diploma students and 12th for Undergraduate courses.
- Studying in an Indian-recognized college or university.
- Not involved in any other scholarship scheme for financial help.
Selection Procedure
- Eligible students might need to attend an interview before the Education Committee.
- If required to appear in person, the applicant or parents must provide original documents supporting the eligibility for financial assistance.
- Carry self-attested copies of all relevant documents during the interview.
- Failure to appear on the scheduled date and time will result in forfeiting the claim for financial assistance.
- No requests for personal appearance will be entertained after the scheduled date unless prior written permission is obtained from the Member Incharge, Education Department, due to genuine exigencies.

- Marksheets from Class X onwards.
- Class X and XII pass certificates.
- Copy of the latest pay slip and I.T. Returns of all family earning members or Family Income Certificate issued by SDM/Tehsildar/BDO.
- Certificate from the institution stating no other scholarship received and no admission through special quota.
- Affidavit (Part-III of Application Form).
- Copy of results for all semesters.
- Latest fee receipts from the University/Institute.
- Details of the fee, including tuition, library, hostel, books, etc., signed by the Principal/Administrator.
- Copy of the passbook of the applicant’s savings bank account for financial assistance remittance.
- Admission slip/letter from the University/Educational Institution.
- Copy of Ration Card/Aadhar Card/Voter I-Card/Passport/Pan-Card or any residence proof.
