Benefits
- The scheme provides a margin money subsidy of up to 50% of the project cost, subject to a maximum of ₹1.6 lakhs for individual applicants and ₹40,000 per member for a joint liability group (minimum 4 members).
- The scheme covers various sectors, including:
- Primary sector: Agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, etc.
- Secondary sector: Manufacturing, processing, handicrafts, etc.
- Tertiary sector: Services, such as tourism, transportation, IT, etc.

How To Apply
Interested candidates can apply for the scheme through the State Institute of Panchayat and Rural Development (SIPRD), Assam, or the district offices of the Rural Development Department.
- Offline: Submit applications to the implementing agency, SIPRD Assam.
- Selection: Done by block-level selection committees.
- Semi-Urban/Urban: Selection finalized by the bank, SIRD field office, and Jt. Director.
- Financial Assistance: Institutional credit up to Rs 6.00 lakhs, based on creditworthiness.
