About AAMAR DUKAN ON WHEELS
The Government is set to introduce an innovative initiative called “AAMAR DUKAN ON WHEELS,” an extension of the existing ‘Aamar Dukan.’ This new module aims to provide doorstep delivery of essential commodities to consumers at prices below the Maximum Retail Price (MRP). The scheme utilizes environmentally friendly E-rickshaws for transportation and emphasizes cashless transactions through GPS-enabled smartphones and Bluetooth billing printers.
Under this program, 22 Non-PDS items, with a potential increase to 36, will be conveniently delivered to consumers’ doorsteps through E-rickshaws at prices below MRP. These E-rickshaws will be equipped with smart GPS-enabled phones and Bluetooth billing printers, promoting the adoption of cashless transactions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an educated unemployed youth.
- Permanent resident of Assam.
- Age should be 18 years or above.
- Registered in the Employment Exchange.
- Minimum educational qualification: HSLC or equivalent.
Exclusions (in simple points):
- Applicants below 18 years of age are ineligible.
- Candidates not registered in the Employment Exchange are not eligible.
- Minimum educational qualification should not be below HSLC or equivalent.
Benefits
- Beneficiaries of AAMAR DUKAN on wheels must keep the goods provided by the Department along with other items.
- They can charge customers an extra Rs 2.00 to Rs 3.00 per Kg/Per litre for profit.
- They must obey the instructions of the Director, FCS&CA, Deputy Commissioners/Sub-Divisional Officers/Principal Secretaries of all Autonomous Councils. Failure to comply may lead to serious consequences, including returning financial aid with interest.
- They must operate their shop according to the schedule provided by the authority. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their license.
- The local authority will specify the area where beneficiaries can operate.
- Beneficiaries must display clear price boards when selling goods.
- They should procure goods from selected wholesalers/stockists as directed by the respective Deputy Commissioners/Sub-Divisional Officers/Principal Secretaries of all Autonomous Councils.
- They are required to maintain a stock book and distribution register for inspection purposes.
