Eligibility Criteria

  • Residents of Assam aged 60 years or above.
  • Not Eligible:
    • Beneficiaries of existing government schemes.
    • Parents of government-employed children.
    • Taxpayers earning above ₹2,50,000/-.

Benefits

  1. Regular Monthly Pension: Eligible beneficiaries receive a monthly pension of ₹250 through Direct Benefit Transfer.
  2. Timely Remittance: The pension amount is transferred to the beneficiary’s account on the first day of each month.

How To Apply

Offline

  • Step 1: go to the appropriate office in your area. This could be a local government body like the Gaon Panchayat, Development Block, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Board, or Town Committee..
  • Step 2: Obtain and complete the “Swahid Kushal Konwar Sarbajanin Briddha Pension Achoni” Application Form.
