The Mukhyamantri Aawasiye Bhu-Adhikaar Yojana, initiated by the Madhya Pradesh state government, aims to ensure every family’s access to a dignified life by providing residential plots to eligible households. By granting land plots in populated areas within gram panchayats, the scheme enables families to build their own homes and access government assistance for housing loans.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant family must not own a residence for independent living.
  • Families currently living on populated land (abadi land) within gram panchayats.
  • Applicant family should possess less than 5 acres of land.
  • The family must hold eligibility for obtaining ration from the Public Distribution System (PDS) shop.
  • None of the family members should be income tax payers or in government service.
  • Applicant’s name must be registered in the voter list till January 01, 2021, in the desired village.

Who is Ineligible?

  • Government Employees: Individuals with government jobs are not eligible.
  • Income Tax Payers: If any member of your family pays income tax, they won’t be considered.
  • Land Ownership: Families already owning sufficient land (possibly exceeding 5 acres) wouldn’t be eligible.
