About The Jharkhand Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana
The Jharkhand Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana is an initiative launched by the state government of Jharkhand to help young people in the region acquire new skills. The program aims to equip students with the requisite skills to secure good jobs, making them self-reliant and empowered. Coaching facilities, allowances, and placement opportunities are provided under the program, which is designed to ensure a brighter future for the youth of Jharkhand.
Objectives of this Scheme
- To Provide better employment opportunities to the youth of Jharkhand.

- Providing allowances to support the training and development of young citizens.
- To Empower economically weaker sections through free coaching facilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand.
- Age should be between 18 years to 35 years.
- Minimum educational qualification required is 10th pass.
- Must have a bank passbook with Aadhaar linked to the bank account.
- Residence should be within a 5-kilometer radius of the training center.
Benefits
- Free skill development training for 3 months.
- Coaching facilities for competitive exams.
- Allowance of Rs 1500 per month for girls and disabled individuals, Rs 1000 per month for boys.
- Monthly financial assistance of ₹2500 for students residing in hostels
