Delhi Goa Vidya Laxmi Scheme
The Government of Goa has come up with a new scheme to benefit the girls from the tribal community, known as the Vidya Laxmi Scheme. Under this, the goa Government will provide financial assistance to the Girls from the tribal community to complete their education
Objectives of the scheme
- Enhancing the empowerment of girls in tribal communities
- To ensure that education is imparted to the tribal girls
- With the help of this scheme, the dropout rate of tribal girls will decrease.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only Girls can apply under this scheme.
- The annual income of the family should not be more than 3 lakhs.
- The applicant must belong to the ST category.
- All tribal girls studying in class 11 are eligible to apply for this scheme but benefits of this scheme will be availed only after completion of class 12
Benefit Of This Scheme
Girls from tribal communities who have completed their 12th standard education will be provided financial assistance of Rs 25000 by the Goa state government

How to apply
Offline
First of all the applicant should contact the concerned BDO office or Department of tribal welfare from where the applicants can collect a form for this project or applicant can download this form online by following the below-mentioned procedures
then the applicant needs to read and fill up the form carefully
Then the applicant has to attach all the required documents in the form
Then the applicant needs to submit the form at the BDO office or concerned tribal welfare department
