About Himachal Pradesh Dev Bhoomi Darshan Yojana
Himachal Pradesh Dev Bhoomi Darshan Yojana: Recently the Government of Himachal Pradesh decided to launch a new scheme to facilitate all senior citizens of the state for visiting various holy places, this project is called Himachal Pradesh Dev Bhoomi Darshan Project. This Scheme will benefit about eight lakh senior citizens of Himachal Pradesh state. Under this Scheme, all senior citizens will be given the facility to travel to the holy place of the state for 4 nights and 5 days.
Objective Of This Scheme
- The main objective of this project is to facilitate the senior citizens of the state to visit the holy places.
Many elderly people in the state want to visit various holy places in their old age but their dreams are not fulfilled due to lack of funds so the Himachal Pradesh state government has launched this project to fulfill the dream of those people to visit holy places

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent residents Of Himachal Pradesh
- Only people of above the age of 70 years will get benefit from this Scheme
- The applicant should be physically and mentally fit.
- The annual income of the senior citizens applying should not exceed one lakh rupees
- applicant can get this benefit once in three years
Benefits
Dev Bhumi Darshan project has been launched for senior citizens for pilgrimage travel, The benefits of this scheme are following
- All senior citizens aged above 70 years will get a 50% discount of the total package for visiting holy places
- All senior citizens above 80 years will get 100% discount of the total package of the pilgrimage travel
- 50% concession of the total package cost to the one attendant accompanying the senior citizens above 80 years of age

For the offline registration of the scheme, you have to visit your concerned district language officer, from there we will be able to apply for this scheme.
