Jharkhand receives an average of about 1,300 to 1,400 mm of rainfall every year, which dries up before the water level in the soil rises, so the Jharkhand state government plans to build better quality check dams to retain rainwater. And it will be used to make the irrigation system more improved and convenient in agriculture. As a result, some districts of Jharkhand like Latehar, Garhwa, and Palamur will be at least somewhat free from the water crisis.
