About Mukhya Mantri Vidyarthi Kalyan Yojna
The Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Kalyan Yojana is an initiative of the State Government of Himachal Pradesh which provides financial assistance through scholarships for the studies of students from Class I to Graduation level. The main objective of this scholarship is to encourage students to pursue higher education and increase their employment, The eligible students will get annual Rs 1,200 scholarships and other benefits.

Eligibility criteria
- The applicant student must be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh
- Applicants should be studying between Class One to Undergraduate
Selection Procedure

- Class 1 to 5 –
- Girl students – INR 500 per annum
- Boy students – INR 250 per annum
- Class 6 to 8 –
- Girl students – INR 600 per annum
- Boy students – INR 350 per annum
- Class 9 – INR 800 per annum for all students
- Undergraduate students –
- Day scholars – INR 1,200 per annum
- Hosteller – INR 1,200 per annum and an additional INR 1,200 per annum for the hostel
