Eligibility for Andhra Pradesh Free Laptop Scheme

Guidelines for Sanction of Laptops
Guidelines for Sanction of Laptops under A.P. Differently Abled & Senior Citizens Assistance Corporation Scheme:
- Procurement:
- 200 laptops will be procured from APTS at a cost of Rs 30,000 per laptop for visually impaired students studying in professional courses.
- Laptops will also be sanctioned to hearing-challenged-speech impaired and orthopedically challenged students.
- Record Maintenance:
- Assistant Directors and District Managers should maintain records of beneficiaries to avoid double claims/false claims.
- Required Documents:
- Students must provide a bona fide certificate from their school/college, parents’ income certificate, Saderam certificate, Aadhar card, and phone number.
- Distribution:
- Laptops Would be distributed through Assistant Directors and District Managers of A.P. Differently Abled & Senior Citizens Assistance Corporation.
- Application Process:
- Assistant Directors and District Managers should maintain applications received in a year and only eligible students with details of their laptop requirement should be submitted to the head office.
- Legal Action:
- If any information is found incorrect at a later date, the student is liable for legal action by the corporation and will have to return the laptop or cost of the laptop.
- One-time Issuance:
- Each student is eligible for only one laptop issuance.
