About The JBNSTS Scholarship
The Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) Junior Scholarship is a prestigious program designed to identify and support talented science students in West Bengal. Organized by the autonomous organization under the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, JBNSTS offers scholarships to students based on their performance in a talent search exam.
JBNSTS offers a yearly scholarship program for students who finished 10th and 12th grade. The scholarship helps students study science in college by giving them money. If chosen, students can get a scholarship every month from ₹1250 to ₹5000.

Types of JBNSTS Scholarship
- JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test (Class 10th)
- Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti (10th Class and Only for Girls Students)
- JBNSTS Senior Talent Search Test (Class 10+2)
- Senior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti (10+2 Class and Only for Girls Students)
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be residents of West Bengal
- Eligibility for Junior Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti is exclusive to female students.
- Successful completion of class 10 or equivalent examination is a prerequisite.
- Attainment of a minimum aggregate of 75% marks is mandatory.
- Admission to class 11 in the science stream is required.
- The science stream should include a minimum of three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, or Computer Science in the year of application.
