Chief Minister Floriculture Mission

About Chief Minister Floriculture Mission

The Chief Minister Floriculture Mission is an initiative aimed at promoting floriculture in Assam, India. The state’s favorable agro-climate naturally supports a wide variety of flowering species, making it an ideal location for ornamental gardens. However, despite this potential, floriculture in Assam has mostly been limited to hobby horticulture in household gardens. The mission seeks to enhance the commercialization of floriculture, provide training and support to farmers, and boost the state’s presence in the national floriculture arena.
