Eligibility criteria

  • Children who have lost either parent.
  • Students from the first standard to degree classes.
  • Children below 5 years.
  • Children belonging to the BPL category.
  • For APL category, annual income criteria: Below Rs. 20,000 in rural areas and Rs. 22,375 in urban areas.

  • Aadhaar card.

How to apply

Offline Application Process:

  • Download the form and submit it with necessary documents to the head of aided/government institutions before October 31 every year.
  • Verification and submission will be done by the head of the institution.

Direct Application for Children Below 5 Years:

Children below 5 years can apply directly to the Executive Director, Kerala Social Security Mission, through the respective Child Welfare Committees.
