Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have 40 percent or more disability as per the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
  • Resident of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years for males, 18 years for females.
  • Marriage must be solemnized according to religious, social customs, or legally prescribed by a competent court.
  • Applicant should not be an income tax payer.

Benefits

  • Financial assistance of Rs. 2,00,000/- for a disabled individual marrying a non-disabled person.
  • Joint assistance of Rs. 1,00,000/- for both disabled individuals marrying each other.

Required Documents

  • Disability certificate issued by a competent medical practitioner.
  • Residence certificate (Madhya Pradesh domicile).
  • Marriage certificate confirming the marriage according to prescribed customs.
  • Two passport size photographs of the couple.

How To Apply

  • Obtain the application form from the office of Joint Director/Deputy Director of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department or District Panchayat, Urban Bodies.
  • Fill out the application form with accurate details.
  • Attach the required documents, including disability certificate, residence certificate, marriage certificate, and photographs.
  • Submit the completed application along with documents to the designated office.
  • The application will be processed within 15 working days.
  • Upon approval, the financial assistance will be provided to the eligible couples.
