How to Apply:
Step 1: New Registration
- Go to the official National Scholarship Portal and click on “New Registration.”
- Read the registration guidelines carefully. Scroll to the bottom, accept the terms, and click “Continue.”
- Fill in the compulsory fields in the registration form.
- Click “Register,” and your Application ID and password will be displayed. You’ll also receive them via SMS on your registered mobile number.

Step 2: Login
- Go to https://scholarships.gov.in/fresh/newstdRegfrmInstruction.
- Enter your Application ID and password. Type the Captcha and click “Login.”
- Provide the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- You’ll be directed to the Password Reset screen. Create a new password and confirm. Click “Submit.”
- You will be directed to the “Applicant’s Dashboard.”
Step 3: Application Form
- On the left pane, click “Application Form.”
- Complete the compulsory fields marked with *.
- Upload the required documents.
- You can choose to “Save as Draft” to complete the application later or click “Final Submit” to submit it.
