Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a permanent resident of Kerala.
  • Must belong below the poverty line.
  • Caregivers of patients unable to care for themselves or are completely bedridden are eligible.

Coverage of Diseases:

  • Bedridden patients requiring full-time care
  • Mentally challenged individuals (autism, cerebral palsy, mental illness)
  • 100% blind patients, bedridden cancer patients, elderly individuals who are bedridden
  • Those with brittle bone disease

Benefits

  • Monthly financial assistance of Rs. 600 for caregivers.
  • Financial aid is provided separately from the patient’s pension.
