About

The e-Shram Card Portal is an online platform launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment to create a national database of unorganized workers, including migrant workers, gig and platform workers, and construction workers. The portal aims to provide social security benefits and services to employees in the unorganized sector and regulate the terms and conditions of their employment. To access benefits and services provided by the government, employees in the unorganized sector can register on the e-Shram portal and download their e-Shram card.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 59.
The applicant must be an employee in the unorganized sector who is not a member of EPFO or ESIC.
The applicant must have an Aadhaar number, a bank account number, and a cellphone number that is connected to their Aadhaar.
The applicant should be a citizen of India and should have all the required documents
The applicant should be able to provide the details of the employer and the establishment where they are working
The applicant should be able to provide details of their salary, the number of working days, and other employment-related information

Public Distribution System (PDS)

Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PM-SYM) Pension Yojana:

This scheme provides pension to unorganized sector workers such as shopkeepers, traders, and self-employed individuals.

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY):

This scheme provides life insurance coverage to individuals who are between 18 and 50 years of age.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY):
